[If there was one thing Takatora was sure he should have learned by now, it would be how to keep his life in perfect running order. He had been the head of Yggdrasill's Research and Development branch from the moment he'd left high school and even before that, his father had kept him on a tight and strict schedule, never a second unaccounted for or left out of place. Unfortunately, with all of Takatora's scheduling and trying to squeeze an extra hour into every day, he still felt as though he never had time for anything, let alone everything. Even his weekends left little time for himself, though Takatora was also painfully aware of his obsession with triple-checking everything under his command and bringing such weight onto himself. He couldn't allow for errors.
His morning routine started a bit later on the weekends, if only because Takatora knew he had to catch up on sleep at some point to make up for running himself ragged. Getting sick was something he couldn't risk. The usual morning routine went by quickly: dragging himself out of bed (he'd never become a morning person, as much as he wanted to), showering, getting dressed, checking for any news or alerts while he had been sleeping. Thankfully, nothing important had happened during the night. Takatora always lived with the fear of something awful happening while he was asleep that he would be unprepared for, but every morning brought the same temporary relief. For now.
Takatora headed out of his room after an hour or so, still checking his phone as he made his way down the hall and towards the stairs. Ryouma already wanted to talk to him about something, which was mildly surprising as Ryouma rarely (never) got out of bed so early, which meant he'd been up all night again. Stepping past one of the maids, Takatora spoke a return greeting to her as he continued on, paying more attention to typing out messages than his surroundings.]

I like to think I'm rather compliant.

[He tugs at Takatora's hair gently. There we go.]
Feeling any better?
no subject
... not entirely.
[It'll take him awhile to get over this one, but at least they'll have the weekend to work on it...]
no subject
[Far be it from him to be a workaholic, but he does have production to get started once Takatora signs off.]

[Takatora turns his head and nuzzles in against Ryouma's neck, seeming a bit more content. It's always nice to balance serious conversation with something so comforting.]
no subject
Mhm. We just need authorization to get the last materials and then we can finish making them.
no subject
... what are your plans after that?
[He's also curious on how Ryouma plans on testing these drivers, since he hasn't been approached for it. But he's sure Ryouma might side-step any attempts at using him anymore.]
no subject
[Takatora, you idiot. But that's one of the reasons he's fun.]

[Takatora sighs, moving one hand from Ryouma's hip to slide his fingers through the other's hair, tugging him into another drawn out kiss.]
I could still do it, if you need me too.
no subject
[He presses a soft kiss to the other's jaw.]
no subject
[He slides his hand under the other's jacket, lightly raking his nails over the fabric of Ryouma's shirt.]
no subject
[He presses into Takatora's hand. You can do better than that, Takatora.]
no subject
[So says the one with the brother fixation, but that at least seems to be slipping away more and more as time goes on. At Ryouma's insistence, Takatora tugs on his hair and untucks part of Ryouma's shirt to dig his nails in a bit more. The action makes him look a little sheepish -- he'd never been good at this sort of thing until his inhibitions were a bit lower.]
no subject
I don't either.
[He presses a hand into Takatora's back, sliding his fingers down. He digs in, through the shirt, and grins.]

A gasp leaves Takatora at Ryouma's movement and the nails in his back cause him to arch forward, pulling Ryouma's hips against him with one hand. He's practically whining before he shoves the urge down, looking up at Ryouma again.]
I should apologize. ... for that. [Pause. He probably needs to clarify.] ... for putting you in such a position with my emotions.

[He tilts Takatora's head back a bit, and presses another kiss to his throat. He needs to get back to work... but a little more play time won't hurt.]
no subject
[Takatora lets Ryouma move him, closing his eyes and letting out a content sigh. Was it really that simple?]
I think... I'm ready to let it go...
no subject
[He brushes Takatora's hair back a bit, tucking it behind his ears.]
no subject
I suppose it took me long enough to reach this point.
no subject
[It might be a little bit of a jab, but he's known Takatora long enough that it's not got any venom in it.]
no subject
[He's obviously not taking any offense, but he squeezes Ryouma's side regardless, pulling him down into one last long kiss.]
... I think I can handle a bit of work now.
no subject
... Good.
[He carefully pushes Takatora back so he can stand easily, taking the other's hand and pulling the hair tie off of it so he can brush his hair down.]

If you want to work while you're staying over, I won't be opposed to that. As long as you don't let it distract you too much.
